During the second semester of my Master’s, I attended a course in which I programmed all sorts of physics simulations.
- Collision Detection – BV, AABB, OOBB, Minkowsky Sum
- Particle Engine – based on the previous collision detection project, a firework explodes and its sparks ricochet from static objects
- Spring System – a simple cloth simulation based on knots connected via springs
As a final project I chose a planetary system simulation. The planets and moons orbit each other and the sun realistically, and via a button press you can fire a comet, that disturbs the system. This project was made in cooperation with my colleague and boyfriend Daniel Mahlberg.
